You might arrive in Seoul with a skin treatment saved on your phone, or simply wonder what all those clinic menus mean. A skin booster, a lifting appointment, and a body-contouring treatment can sound like variations on the same idea. They’re aiming at different things, though, and the difference matters when you have a few days in Korea and a whole trip to enjoy.
Plan;S Clinic is a Seoul clinic brand whose English website features skin boosters, lifting treatments, localized fat-dissolving injections, and a prescription weight-management program. It lists locations in Gangnam and Myeongdong. The range makes it worth getting to know if you’re exploring skin or body treatments, but the useful first step is deciding which concern you want a doctor to assess.
Partner disclosure: Plans Clinic is a partner of PIN-AGENCY KOREA, the company behind Korea Unboxed. Medical guidance in this article also draws on independent regulators and published research.
Clinic information was checked on October 2, 2026. Confirm the branch, language support, treatment details, total price, and aftercare arrangements for your appointment. This guide can help you prepare for a consultation; it cannot establish whether a procedure is suitable for you.
Start with your question rather than a treatment name
Try putting what you want into ordinary words. Perhaps your skin feels dry, you’re curious about a particular contouring treatment, or you want to understand why a doctor might recommend one approach over another. That gives the consultation a clearer starting point than asking for a package because its name sounds familiar.
Plan;S’s menu has three broad areas to keep separate. Its skin-booster services are marketed around skin concerns. Its lifting and body-contouring services focus on appearance in a particular area. Its diet-prescription program involves medication, which raises questions about ongoing medical care. A recommendation in one category doesn’t automatically mean you need something from the others.
You can arrive curious without agreeing to treatment that day. Ask the doctor what they see, what options could address your concern, and what happens if you choose to do nothing for now. If the proposed plan includes several services, have each one explained separately before deciding whether the combination fits your goals and budget.
What a MiraJet skin-booster appointment involves
One of the clinic’s featured services is MiraJet skin-booster delivery. In the clinic’s description, a laser-powered system generates a fine, high-pressure jet that delivers a selected formulation through the skin without using a needle. MiraJet is the delivery method. The substance being delivered is a separate part of the treatment.
“MiraJet” alone doesn’t tell you the product, amount, or reason for choosing it. Before deciding, have the doctor identify the proposed product, ingredients, dose, and intended use, and explain how it relates to your concern. Understanding the alternatives will help you compare the appointment with what you want to achieve.
A 2023 randomized study compared laser-induced microjet delivery with needle injection using a particular polylactic-acid and hyaluronic-acid filler. It reported similar improvements in measured hydration and elasticity, with less pain and fewer side effects using the jet method. That is evidence about the studied formulation and protocol, rather than proof that every skin booster delivered by MiraJet gives the same result.
If needles are what make you hesitant, this may be a useful option to discuss. Still, “needle-free” doesn’t establish that a procedure is painless or risk-free. Have the clinician explain discomfort, numbing, possible reactions, recovery, and what you should do if a problem develops. You should understand the actual appointment before choosing it for the delivery method alone.
Body contouring and weight management are different conversations
Plan;S also advertises BBAT injections, its own named fat-dissolving service for selected facial and body areas. The name alone won’t tell you what’s in the injection. Have the doctor explain the formula, amount, and why the proposed treatment area is appropriate for you.
The clinic cites animal testing in its BBAT marketing. Animal findings don’t establish the amount of change a person can expect, how long it will last, or the chance of complications. Ask for human evidence relevant to the exact formulation and proposed use, and for a realistic discussion of alternatives.
The U.S. FDA has reported serious harm from unapproved fat-dissolving injections, including infections, scarring, and painful lumps. Its warning concerns the U.S. market and does not determine BBAT’s regulatory status in Korea. The practical question for your appointment is what product is being used and what Korean authorization, if applicable, supports its proposed use. A proprietary name or a patent does not answer that question.
For device-based treatments, the clinic’s menu includes ONDA, Titanium Lifting, Triple Body, and EMSCULPT NEO. These names shouldn’t be treated as interchangeable. Ask which device would be used, which area it would treat, and what effect the doctor expects. The FDA’s body-contouring guidance explains that noninvasive devices do not treat obesity or produce weight-loss health benefits. Results can be temporary; risks vary by technology and can include pain, swelling, bruising, lumps, or burns.
Prescription weight care needs a plan beyond your vacation
Plan;S’s diet-prescription page describes individually selected medication following an assessment of body composition and habits. It gives categories of medication rather than a complete product list for any individual prescription.
If this is what interests you, ask for every medication’s generic name, dose, purpose, side effects, interactions, and follow-up plan. Think about who will oversee your care after you leave Korea. A consultation during a trip does not settle how monitoring, prescription changes, or a refill will work at home.
The U.S. National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases describes weight-management medication as health treatment selected with a clinician, alongside lifestyle care, rather than something to take only to change how you look. It advises against these medications during pregnancy or when planning pregnancy. Tell the doctor about pregnancy plans, breastfeeding, existing conditions, and all medicines or supplements you use before discussing a prescription.
Can you communicate in English
Plan;S has an English website and advertises free English and Thai interpretation on its English-language Instagram profile, linked from the official site. Confirm support for your branch, date, and consultation before reserving, including whether any charge applies to your appointment.
Ask who will help you communicate with the treating doctor and whether that support also covers consent, medication instructions, and aftercare. If you need another language, ask specifically rather than assuming the website’s language choices describe the staff on duty. Make sure you can explain your health history and ask follow-up questions comfortably.
For a body treatment, you can also ask about privacy, clothing arrangements, and whether a chaperone or particular staff arrangement can be provided. Get those answers before booking if they affect whether you would feel comfortable attending.
How to read the posted prices
For a starting sense of the budget, the English homepage checked on October 2, 2026 displays Face BBAT at KRW 90,000, Body BBAT at KRW 120,000, ONDA from KRW 490,000, and MiraJet with a skin booster from KRW 160,000. They appear in an event section and are marked VAT excluded. Confirm the offer’s dates and eligibility before using it to plan your spending.
The cards alone don’t fully explain the treatment area, amount, product, session count, or eligibility behind each price. Ask for a written total for the exact plan you are considering, including VAT, consultation, numbing, medication, and any additional care. For a package, establish the per-session price and whether the total requires several visits.
Set a budget you’re comfortable with before the consultation. You can ask for one option within it and have extra services explained before agreeing to them. Confirm payment methods, any deposit, cancellation rules, and refund terms directly with the clinic. Don’t treat a price on a Reel or an older promotional screenshot as today’s offer.
As of October 2, 2026, the current Korean statute limits the old foreign-tourist cosmetic-medical VAT refund to qualifying services supplied by December 31, 2025. Don’t assume that old refund will apply to a 2026 visit.

Make room for your trip and your follow-up
Tell the doctor how long you’ll stay in Korea and when you fly home. Mention plans that may matter to aftercare, such as swimming, a spa visit, exercise, or time outdoors. Ask what you would need to change for the selected procedure and for how long.
It also helps to distinguish the time in the treatment room from the whole appointment. Ask how long consultation, preparation, numbing if used, treatment, and observation are expected to take. If the proposed course involves repeat visits, find out whether you can complete it during your stay and what a single session can reasonably achieve.
Before leaving, get written aftercare and a contact for questions or complications. Ask which symptoms need urgent medical attention and how to obtain care if they appear after you return home. Keep a record of the device or products used, treatment date, and medication instructions so another clinician can understand what you received.
Gangnam or Myeongdong
The official directions page lists the Gangnam location on the second floor of YBM Gangnam Center, 408 Gangnam-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Its Myeongdong listing is 7 Myeongdong 8na-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul, on floors three through five, with reception on the third floor.
Both branch listings show regular hours of 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, with closure on Sundays and public holidays. Confirm holiday schedules, the latest appointment time for your service, and the exact branch in your booking confirmation. Ask about step-free access if you need it.
The English site links an official WhatsApp inquiry channel. You can start by naming the branch and your concern, then asking about consultation language, availability, and pricing. A useful message would be:
Hi, I’m visiting Seoul from [dates] and interested in a consultation about [concern] at [branch]. Will English interpretation be available? Could you explain the consultation fee, appointment length, and booking terms? I’d like to understand the options and aftercare before deciding on treatment.
Plan;S is an option to explore if its listed services match something you want assessed and you can arrange a clear conversation with the doctor. The best appointment for your trip is one whose purpose, cost, risks, and follow-up you understand. You can leave with useful advice even if your decision is to wait.
Frequently asked questions
What services does Plan;S Clinic offer?
Plan;S’s English website advertises skin boosters, lifting, localized fat-dissolving injections, and prescription weight-management care. These are different services. Choose the concern you want a doctor to assess rather than assuming a skin, body, or medication package is right for you.
Does Plan;S offer English interpretation?
Its English Instagram profile advertises free English and Thai interpretation as advertised on October 2, 2026. Confirm availability and any charge for your branch and date. Ask whether support covers the doctor’s consultation, consent, medication instructions, and aftercare.
Where are the branches, and how do I book?
The directions page lists Gangnam at YBM Gangnam Center, second floor, 408 Gangnam-daero, and Myeongdong at 7 Myeongdong 8na-gil, floors three through five, with reception on three. Start through the official WhatsApp inquiry link and confirm the branch in your reservation.
Are the website prices the full amount I’ll pay?
No. The homepage event prices checked October 2, 2026 exclude VAT, and the cards don’t fully explain treatment amounts, areas, or eligibility. Request a written total for your exact plan, including consultation, tax, numbing, medication, and additional care. Confirm offer dates before budgeting.
Can I fit treatment into a short Seoul trip?
You’ll need a procedure-specific plan. Confirm the full appointment length, recovery instructions, repeat visits, and follow-up after you leave Korea. If you’re considering the clinic’s prescription program, also establish who will oversee medication monitoring and refills at home.
Does the old foreign-tourist cosmetic-medical VAT refund apply in 2026?
The current Korean statute, checked October 2, 2026, limits the old scheme to qualifying services supplied by December 31, 2025. Don’t assume a 2026 treatment will receive that refund.
