Your train arrives before hotel check-in, but your suitcase is too big to take sightseeing. At Seoul Station, start with two questions: Will your bag fit, and can you collect it before your next departure? A cheap locker is not much help if you cannot reach it when you need it.

This guide covers Seoul Metro’s T-Locker and the staffed T-Luggage counter. It does not treat every storage facility in the station complex as the same service.

Choose the option that fits your day

  • A few hours, manageable bag: check a locker first, including its dimensions and pickup deadline.
  • Large or awkward suitcase: ask the staffed counter whether it can accept your bag before committing to a locker.
  • Overnight or several days: get the full storage period and pickup arrangement confirmed before leaving your luggage.
  • A very early train or late arrival: choose around access hours, not just price.

Where is the staffed counter?

The operator lists T-Luggage Seoul Station on B1, along the direction from Exit 1 toward Exit 2, with hours of 9:00 AM–10:00 PM (09:00–22:00). Use the subway-level exit signs rather than assuming it is beside your KTX platform. The operator lists 02-6110-2977 for its call center. Check the official center listing.

Save the counter name and a photo of its entrance when you arrive. If you later return through a different part of the station, those details are more useful than a note that only says “Seoul Station storage.”

Will a large suitcase fit in a locker?

Seoul’s published T-Locker dimensions are below, in the source’s order: width × depth × height. They describe the service, not a guarantee that a particular size is free at Seoul Station.

T-Locker sizes & prices
Locker sizeDimensions
Width × depth × height
First 4 hours
Weekday / weekend
Each extra hour
Small50 × 30 × 60 cm₩2,200 / ₩3,100₩500
Medium50 × 45 × 60 cm₩3,300 / ₩4,600₩800
Large50 × 90 × 60 cm₩4,400 / ₩6,100₩1,000

All prices in Korean won. On smaller screens, swipe across the table.

T-Locker’s listed access hours are 5:00 AM–midnight (05:00–24:00); storage and retrieval are unavailable outside those hours. For newer lockers, the T-Locker app shows station availability. Older units have their own posted instructions. Seoul Metropolitan Government: locker sizes, rates and hours.

Measure the whole suitcase, including wheels, handles and any expanded section. An airline’s “28-inch suitcase” label does not tell you whether all three dimensions fit. Check the actual compartment and door opening before paying, and never force the door closed.

How much is staffed storage?

The operator advertises these four-hour starting rates:

  • Small, up to about 20 inches: ₩3,000 weekday / ₩4,000 weekend.
  • Medium, 20–23 inches: ₩4,000 weekday / ₩6,000 weekend.
  • Large, 23–27 inches: ₩6,000 weekday / ₩9,000 weekend.
  • Extra-large, 27 inches and above: ₩9,000 weekday / ₩13,000 weekend.

It lists an additional ₩1,000 per hour. Confirm your bag’s category and final quote with staff. T-Luggage published rates.

Those size bands meet at the boundaries. If your bag is exactly 23 or 27 inches, ask which category applies rather than calculating your own bill.

Can you leave luggage overnight?

Confirm the arrangement for your exact dates. The official pages checked for this guide do not establish one universal overnight or multi-day price, maximum stay, or around-the-clock pickup rule. We would not turn a four-hour tariff into a guaranteed three-day quote.

Ask: “I want to leave this suitcase today at 2:00 PM (14:00) and collect it tomorrow at 7:00 AM (07:00). Can I do that, and what is the total?” Change the times to your itinerary. Get both the storage permission and collection time confirmed.

For example, a next-morning pickup at 7:00 AM falls before the staffed counter’s published opening time. Do not leave your suitcase there on the assumption that someone will be available early.

What if the lockers are full?

  1. Check the next option before walking there. Look for another available locker location in the app or ask station staff. Do not assume that a different bank has large compartments free.
  2. Try the staffed counter during its hours. Ask about acceptance and collection time before changing your sightseeing plan.
  3. Ask your accommodation. If you are checking in or out that day, ask whether it can hold your luggage and until when. Availability and charges are property-specific.
  4. Consider storage closer to where you will finish. A modest detour now may be better than returning across Seoul later. Confirm the provider’s current address, hours and conditions directly.

A one-minute check before you walk away

  • Keep your passport, medication and other essentials with you.
  • Save the receipt, booking details and exact storage location somewhere you can access without mobile data.
  • Confirm the last pickup time and allow a buffer before your train.
  • Check that the door is securely closed or that staff have completed the handover.
  • Set a reminder for collection, not just for departure.
